Charles Dixon
Charles Dixon has worked in the South West counties of Devon, Cornwall and Somerset since the early 1980s, latterly as the director of a multi-disciplinary surveying practice in Exeter.
Charles studied Estate Management at the University of Reading before qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor, Chartered Valuation Surveyor and Agricultural Valuer.
In his professional capacity, Charles undertakes a wide range of professional property work including Rural Estate Management, Residential Management and Residential, Commercial and Argicultural Valuations for public sector, private and institutional clients.
He has held a number of appointments with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) including as a Member of the Ethics Committee and Chairman of the Professional Indemnity Insurance Working Party. He is also currently a member of the RICS Constitution Working Party.
Throughout his career, both in his various roles as a surveyor and his work with the RICS, Charles has encouraged the continuing self-regulation of the professional property world and pushed for greater transparency of processes for consumers involved in property issues.
