How to enjoy your eBook

Reading our eBooks

Our books can be read on any PDF compatible device which connects either directly to the internet or to a PC with internet access. Compatible devices include PC, Mac, iPad, iPod, iPhone, or any PDF eBook reader. Go to your Quicklook library, enter your password and select the "Read" button for the book that you want. This will access the most up to date version.

Many people will enjoy our Flip book option, which enables you to turn the pages like a traditional book. Some, including iPad, iPod and iPhone users, will use the PDF option. Here the pages should appear in full screen mode. On most screens it should be possible to click from one page to another. Scrolling is another option, which will work with large print on small devices.

You will need Adobe Reader to view Quicklook Books. Click the logo above for a free download.

Downloading our e Books

The Download button enables you to download your book so that it can be read offline. If you are an individual you can transfer it to another device that you personally own. Please do not transfer it to someone else. This is illegal. See our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Kindle

We have prepared our books so that they look good on a Kindle.

We suggest that you download your new book to your PC or laptop. You can then use important features, such as printing and get the latest versions of your books from your Quicklook library via your PC.

Once you have received your Quicklook book by clicking on the “Download Kindle friendly version” button, you can transfer it to your Kindle by one of three methods:

1. Connect the Kindle to your PC with your USB cable and copy the book to your Kindle. See (More information from Amazon).

2. Email the book to your Kindle account. You need to register your Kindle in your Amazon account and set it up to receive eBooks via email. This is a simple process: See (More information from Amazon).

We have integrated with Amazon and Kindle so that you can, if you wish, send your Quicklook books directly to your Kindle. You can do this from your Quicklook Library.

Note that Amazon makes a small charge if your Kindle is using a 3G connection-around 20p for a Quicklook book. There is a free service from Amazon if you are using a WiFi connection.

We recommend that you use our Kindle friendly book format, which preserves the layout and graphics. However you can choose to use special Kindle features, such as enlargement and text to speech. Type “Convert” into the subject box before sending your email.

Other e book readers

The PDF format for the Kindle should work well on any e reader which accepts PDF’s. Click on the “Download Kindle friendly version” button. This will access your book. Then transfer it to your reader in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

If you prefer, transfer the “Download” version of your book.

Printing

Unlike many eBook publishers we let you print your book. Simply click the “print” button and use the features available on your printer. One way of getting a large print version of your book is to print the “Kindle friendly” version. There are plenty of other print options. See Adobe’s Printing Tips for Acrobat Reader.
